Sunny the Sunflower Wakes Up
A little sunflower greets the morning and makes everyone smile.
The sky was turning pink and orange. Morning was coming!
In the garden, a little sunflower named Sunny was still sleeping. Her petals were curled up tight.
"Good morning, Sunny!" said the sun, peeking over the hill. "Time to wake up!"
Sunny stretched her petals. One by one. Stretch, stretch, stretch! She opened wide and looked around.
"Good morning, sun!" said Sunny. "Good morning, ladybug! Good morning, butterfly!"
The ladybug giggled. The butterfly danced. Everyone was happy to see Sunny smiling.
Sunny turned her face to the warm sun. She felt so happy. "I love mornings!" she said.
A tiny ant walked by. He looked tired. "Good morning, little ant!" said Sunny with her biggest smile.
The ant looked up and smiled back. "Thank you, Sunny. Your smile made my day better!"
Sunny learned something wonderful. A smile in the morning can make everyone's day brighter. And it's free!
So Sunny smiled all morning long. And the whole garden smiled with her.
