The Brave Little Star
A tiny star overcomes its fear of the dark and shines brightly for everyone.
High up in the sky, a tiny star sat behind a big cloud. The sky was very dark. Very, very dark.
"I am scared," said the little star. "The dark is so big. And I am so small."
The moon peeked over. "You can do it, little star. Just try."
The little star took a deep breath. It closed its eyes. And then โ it glowed! Just a tiny bit at first. A soft, gentle light.
"I am doing it!" said the star. It glowed a little brighter. And brighter!
Another star saw the light. "I want to shine too!" And it started to glow.
Then another star. And another. And another!
Soon, the whole sky was full of beautiful, twinkling stars. The dark wasn't scary anymore. It was beautiful!
"I did it," whispered the little star. "I was brave."
The moon smiled warmly. "You didn't just shine for yourself. You helped everyone else be brave too."
Goodnight, brave little star. Goodnight.
