The Gentle Giant
A very big giant learns to walk gently around tiny flowers.
Goro was very big. He was the biggest person in the whole valley. His feet were as big as boats!
But Goro walked slowly. Very, very slowly. Do you know why?
One day, Goro was walking through the meadow. He saw tiny flowers everywhere. Red ones. Yellow ones. Purple ones. They were so small and so beautiful.
"I will not hurt them," said Goro softly. He stepped very carefully. One foot here. One foot there. Around the flowers. Between the flowers.
A little ladybug looked up. "Thank you, Goro! You are so gentle!"
A butterfly fluttered by. "We love you, gentle giant!"
The flowers danced happily in the breeze. They were safe because Goro was careful.
Goro smiled softly. Being big did not mean being rough. Being big meant being extra gentle.
That night, Goro lay down in his big bed. The flowers outside his window swayed and whispered, "Goodnight, gentle Goro."
Goodnight, gentle giant. Goodnight.
