The Missing Puzzle Piece
Children learn that teamwork completes the picture โ literally!
Three children sat on the floor with a big puzzle. It was a puzzle of a beautiful garden with flowers and butterflies and a big rainbow.
They worked together. One child found the blue pieces. One child found the green pieces. One child found the yellow pieces.
Piece by piece, the puzzle came together. A flower here. A butterfly there. A rainbow across the top!
But wait โ one piece was missing! Right in the middle of the garden. There was an empty space.
"Oh no!" said the first child. "The puzzle is not complete!"
They looked under the table. Not there. They looked behind the couch. Not there. They looked in the toy box. Not there!
Then the third child noticed something. "Look! It's under the rug!"
The child picked it up. A green piece with a little ladybug on it!
"You found it!" the others cheered.
The child placed the piece. Click! It fit perfectly. The puzzle was complete! A beautiful, perfect garden.
"We did it together," said the first child.
"Every piece matters," said the second child.
"And every friend matters too," said the third child.
They high-fived and smiled proudly.
Goodnight, puzzle friends. Goodnight.
