The Morning Teamwork Tower
Three siblings learn that working together gets things done faster and better.
Every morning in the Kapoor house was chaos. Three kids, one bathroom, and not enough time.
"I need the toothpaste!" yelled Rohan.
"I was here first!" said Priti.
"MAMA!" cried little Bunty.
Mama stood in the hallway. "Okay, new plan. You three are going to be the Morning Team."
"What's a Morning Team?" asked Rohan.
"You each have a job. Rohan, you squeeze toothpaste for everyone. Priti, you pick out everyone's socks. Bunty, you open the curtains in every room."
"That's it?" said Priti.
"That's it. Try it tomorrow."
Next morning, Rohan squeezed toothpaste on three brushes. Done in one minute! Priti found six matching socks and laid them out. Done in two minutes! Bunty ran from room to room pulling curtains open. Sunlight filled the whole house.
"It's so bright!" said Bunty, clapping.
"It's so fast!" said Rohan, surprised.
"We didn't fight at all!" said Priti, amazed.
They sat down for breakfast five minutes early. FIVE MINUTES! That had never happened before.
"What should we do with our extra time?" asked Mama.
They looked at each other. "STORY TIME!" they all shouted.
Mama read them a whole story before school. Because when everyone helps a little, everyone gets something wonderful in return.
