The Sweet Honeybee

A busy little bee visits flowers, makes honey, and helps the garden grow.

Buzz! Buzz! A little honeybee flew out of the hive. It was a bright, sunny morning.

"Time to work!" said the bee happily. The bee loved its job.

The bee flew to a red flower. "Hello, red flower!" The bee collected some nectar. The flower smiled. "Thank you for visiting me, bee!"

The bee flew to a yellow flower. "Hello, yellow flower!" More nectar. More smiles. "Thank you, bee! You help me grow!"

The bee flew to a purple flower. "Hello, purple flower!" The flower danced in the wind. "Thank you, bee! You are my friend!"

By afternoon, the bee had visited so many flowers. Its legs were covered in golden pollen. The bee flew back to the hive.

At the hive, the bee turned all the nectar into sweet, golden honey. Drip, drip, drip. Yummy honey!

"My work helps everyone," said the bee. "The flowers grow. The honey is sweet. Everyone is happy."

The bee curled up in the warm hive. Outside, the flowers whispered, "Goodnight, sweet bee."

Goodnight, sweet honeybee. Goodnight.
