The Two Best Bears
Two bears discover that sharing honey makes them the best of friends.
In the big green forest, there lived two bears. One bear was brown. One bear was golden. They lived in caves on different sides of the hill.
One sunny morning, the brown bear found a pot of honey. Sweet, golden, sticky honey! The best kind!
The brown bear was very happy. But then it thought about the golden bear. "I bet my friend would love some honey too."
The brown bear walked over the hill, carrying the honey pot carefully.
"Hello, friend!" said the brown bear. "I found honey. Let's share!"
The golden bear's eyes went wide. "Really? For me too?"
They sat together under a big oak tree. They dipped their paws into the honey. Lick, lick, lick! So sweet!
"Mmmmm!" said the brown bear. "Yummy!" said the golden bear.
They laughed and licked their sticky paws. Honey dripped on their noses. They looked at each other and laughed even more!
"Sharing makes honey taste even sweeter," said the golden bear.
"And sharing makes friends even closer," said the brown bear.
They hugged, sticky and happy. Best friends forever.
Goodnight, best bears. Goodnight.
